Wednesday Hodge Podge

1. How many times in your life have you moved house?
this is actually easy to answer....my mom keeps a list of all the places she and my dad have lived since being married...and as I was 3 months old when they got married, I have lived in almost all of the same places, not counting the homes during my marriage before we combined households again.
From birth to age 19:   15 houses (most were in and around Waco, TX, but we also lived in Ft. Meade, MD and Ft. Hood, TX as well as Germany twice during this time due to my dad's military service)

age 19 to present:  10 different houses

TOTAL:  25 moves
no wonder I hate moving so much!!!

2. What subject would you study if you had a year to devote to it?
i'm kind of doing that now....self improvement, self development, learning to love myself and diving into the scriptures and gospel study kind of stuff...it's an enlightening journey and while parts of it are painful, it will all be so worth it

3. What in this world breaks your heart?
many things....
newly bereaved parents
disregard and disrespect of children and their feelings
abuse of any kind
natural disasters and the devastation left behind

4. What is one item that symbolizes the times in which we live? Why?
cell phones...more precisely, smartphones...we do so much digitally and electronically from anywhere we are, it's just crazy

5. Share a favorite bumper sticker or t-shirt slogan.
now that you ask...i've gone blank...can't think of a single thing
One of my favorite things to do however, is look at license plates.  Drivers here are very creative with their personalized license plates...so it's fun to try to decipher the meaning.
One of my favorites is this:
XQAMOI

Can you figure it out?

Scroll for the answer...

Keep goin.....

Excuse eh Moi!

Love it!

6. How do you like your spaghetti?
not too saucy, with meatballs

7. What is one piece of advice you would give a recent or soon to be recent graduate?
Dream as big as you want.....shoot for the moon, because even if you miss, you'll still be in the stars.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
my random thoughts are probably best left in my head or in my journal....they are pretty intense these days, about alot of different situations in my life...the ending of my marriage, the effects of that and their fathers current livng arrangements on my children, the status of some of my friendships,  intense overload at work....ugh
