What holidays traditions did you have as a child?
New Year's--staying up to watch the ball drop in New York and drink sparkling cider or grape juice at midnight
Easter--church, egg hunts
July 4th--fireworks
Halloween--usually trunk or treat at church, trick or treating in the neighborhood
Thanksgiving--food, food, food
Christmas--read Christmas story in Luke/John, look at lights Christmas Eve, breakfast then gifts Christmas morning, and food and pies
Did your family do anything specific or special during the holiday season (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter – any holiday!)?
