Sept 2: At the Zoo
1. Would you rather have a pet hippo or a pet elephant?
um...neither? I did watch one of Samantha Brown's travel shows with my husband in which she was in a country in Asia...I forget which one now, but she rode an elephant...it lifted her up to its back with it's trunk, and then laid down for her to get off. It was actually pretty cool...but as a pet...no, I don't think so.
2. Why do you think bananas are shaped the way they are?
never given it much thought...it's just the way they are
3. In one word (OK, you can go three to four MAX) , what do most people describe you as?
that probably depends on the person....lol...hopefully, my friends would say compassionate, resourceful, strong, determined
4. Choice (stupid but a choice…): Loss of vision, ability to speak or hearing - which do you choose? (you have to choose one....) It's like a law. But we can't make you.
I would NEVER want to lose my vision or my hearing...not seeing or hearing my children's and husband faces and voices would be absolutely unbearable. And while not being able to speak might pose some challenges....it would be the most adaptable I think. I could still be fairly independent (drive, craft, BLOG, etc) and sign language is not only for the hearing impaired :-)
5. Do you like lemons? Do you use them to clean with or just as a food source? Or are you saving them up for 2012?

6. When you are feeling icky with that sickness feeling, what is your first choice for feel-better medicine?
depends on the cause of the sickness...but bring on the drugs, preferably prescription--not over the counter!
7. You are starving. You have not had anything to eat for days. In front of you is poison ivy, a live hissing cockroach, and a rotten stinky piece of some sort of mystery meat to eat. Which would you pick and why?
I think I would just continue starving...and looking.
8. Who was the last person you bought a present for? What was it? Will you buy Berleen one?
mmmm....probably my husband. I bought a couple of watercolor prints from a local memphis artist, then mounted and framed them to give to him for our anniversary.
As for Berleen....quite unlikely..but only because I don't know ya.

I don't remember really having ONE favorite....I played with Barbies quite a bit and I had a rubik's cube and magic link puzzle I loved to attempt...don't really remember much else

I wouldn't do it for them...but forest green

hmmm...probably my daughters boyfriend, though he doesn't very often...and he goes or stays outside to smoke--not allowed in our house
