{one} have you ever been stuck in an elevator?
no, not ever stuck...but I used to have this really really weird dream when I worked at the nursing home years ago...I would dream that I was in the elevator and it started turning, like over top to bottom, not twisting. very very odd....but I sometimes have really odd dreams when I'm incredibly tired (I just don't always remember them)
{two} have you ever ridden on an elephant?
yes...at the Karem Shrine Circus when I was like 13 maybe...saw Samantha Brown do that on a show last year....her experience looked to be more fun than the circus elephant...just saying
{three} have you ever met a well known celebrity?
depends on what is considered a "celebrity"....I have my picture with Shane Battier, who is an NBA player for the Memphis Grizzlies
{four} do you have any food allergies?
nope, no food allergies
{five} do you know how to sew?
on a machine, yes; by hand, no: I give all my hemming to my mom, who does not know how to sew on a machine but does by hand...
{six} did you get an allowance when you were young?
i did not...partly due to lack of funds, and I think also due to the fact that my parents believed that chores at home were simply a responsibility of being part of the family
{seven} how often do you fill up your gas tank?
at least once a week, sometimes more depending on appts and such
{eight} have you ever been stung by a jelly fish?
no, thankfully...I hear it's pretty painful
{nine} have you ever been robbed?
yes...a few times, different occasions, different circumstances:
my daughter's bike was stolen from our yard when we lived in Lockhart...we lived in a fourplex that had a fence around the building...someone came into the fence to get it....so sad.
I was given a ruby and diamond necklace when i graduated from high school...it disappeared during the time a family member was living with us;
we had a video camera stolen a couple of years ago...and I had money stolen from my wallet. That however, was mostly my fault...I had gone to the restroom at the drivein movies and left it in the stall. In my defense, I was a week or so post delivery of my twin sons, one of whom we had just had the funeral for...so my mind was a bit preoccupied, Whoever took my wallet did eventually turn it in to the employees in the snack bar..took the cash, but left my bank card and more importantly, left my pictures of my son who was in the NICU at the time (which was all i cared about...those pics were the only ones we had at the time)
{ten} what is the worst haircut you’ve ever had?
i think the worst haircut was when i was in the 8th grade and didn't get my hair cut.....my hair is just wavy enough to not be straight, but not enough to be curly...so as it grows, the sides do this weird flip thing....i was trying to grow them out, and being rather inexperienced in hair styling, didn't know how to fix it while it grew so it would look half decent...it was truly unattractive.
