thursday....

Not alot of blog hops on thursday anymore, so thought I'd just pop on to say I had a great day today.   Took my boys to the zoo....spent way more time and money than I intended...but it was all worth it.   They loved it, as did I.  We got to see the new exhibit (which is about a year old now), and then stopped to see my daughter at her last day of work at Hallmark (she started a new job at Great American Cookie a couple of weeks ago--she wants to one day open her own bakery)....she gave us each a gift (using her discount during the last day, I'm sure.. :)

Gift from my daughter....(there was also a card with a very sweet message from her).  We are having mom-daughter lunch on Sat....I can't wait!

The book is one I had mentioned I wanted one day when I was in there.

She gave each of the boys candy.

I also have had some more serious thoughts on  my mind....Contrary to what some people think or have been led to believe, I do care and am concerned about the health of my now soon to be ex husband (and not just because he is the father of our children)....and am glad that his procedure today was seemingly successful.  There are more procedures to come and a more intensive surgery as well....he will continue to be in my thoughts as he continues to receive treatment.
