A friend of my son's was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer with liver metastases..he is a sophomore in high school.  My heart aches for he and his family.   Prognosis is not good...3-5 months without treatment, 11 months with.  So unfair.  (It seems we have other mutual friends even though I don't know them myself.  Life in a small town I suppose.)
